Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wan Zuhainis Saad

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wan Zuhainis Saad is an Associate Professor in Microbiology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Director of the Centre for Academic Development and Leadership Excellence (CADe-Lead). Previously, she was the Director of the Academic Excellence Division at the Ministry of Higher Education (2018-2022). She has introduced key initiatives like Experiential Learning and Competency-Based Education (EXCEL) and Service Learning Malaysia (SULAM). Dr. Wan Zuhainis is also a strong advocate for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and leads the ESD Task Force at UPM. Her awards include the National Academic Award (2018), Reimagining Higher Education Award (2017), and Higher Education E-Learning Maestro Award (2023). She also serves as an advisor and consultant for several universities in Malaysia and internationally.

Associate Professor Dr. Tee Meng Yew, currently serving at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya, is an expert in educational practices, instructional design, and technology. With a diverse academic background encompassing education, psychology, and management, Dr. Tee’s research explores innovative teaching approaches, including lecturing, discussion facilitation, and context-rich learning environments. He has contributed significantly to the fields of collaborative learning and epistemic orientation and has published extensively in reputable journals such as the International Journal of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning and Australasian Journal of Educational Technology. Dr. Tee has authored multiple books, including Shaping Teaching Practice in Malaysia: A System’s View (2024) and Education in Malaysia: Challenges and Developments (2017). He has also led several research grants and projects aimed at improving teaching and learning practices in Malaysia. Dr. Tee’s commitment to educational innovation is reflected in his numerous accolades, including the Best Paper Award at the 2018 International Conference on Education. His work continues to influence educational discourse and practice both locally and internationally.
Dr. Katya (Ekaterina) Pechenkina

Dr. Katya Pechenkina is a Senior Lecturer in Learning and Teaching at Swinburne University of Technology, with expertise in educational technology, artificial intelligence, and cultural anthropology. She has led strategic initiatives in AI policy development, online learning, and student engagement. Dr. Pechenkina’s research focuses on Indigenous education, technology-enhanced learning, and data justice. She has received several prestigious awards, including the 2024 Open Education Award for Excellence in Open Collaboration and the Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and she has delivered keynote speeches at international conferences. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Pechenkina is a dedicated mentor, supervising PhD students and contributing to various committees on academic integrity and teaching innovation.
